At the age of 23, Councilman Jerrod W. Holton became the youngest ever to be elected to the Midway City Council. As a young and well respected emerging leader, Holton's Holton takes pride in delivering service with excellence through his passion for public.
Holton was raised in Midway, FL and is a product of Gadsden County Schools. Holton received his B.S. degree in Information Technology from Florida State University. At the time of his election, Holton was pursuing political science/public administration degree at Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University. Together, Holton envisions quality service delivery through the demands of technology.
He is a member and attends St. John Primitive Baptist Church in Midway, FL. Other boards and organizations include, but not are not limited to the following:
- Apalachee Regional Planning Council Technical Advisory Committee
- Florida League of Cities Municipal Service Delivery Committee
- Vice Overseer, St. John PB Church Board of Trustees
